Directions to Warrawong
for those travelling from
Canberra/Southern NSW

To be used in conjunction with the Map (283KB yes nearly 300KB).

1. Take the Hume Highway north;
2. Take the Wollongong/Moss Vale exit ramp (approx 35 -40 minutes north of Goulburn);
3. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp and travel to Moss Vale along the Illawarra Highway;
4. At the northern end of Moss Vale town centre turn right at the ROUNDABOUT towards Wollongong;
5. Follow the Illawarra Highway to Albion Park (via Macquarie Pass);
6. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights in Albion Park;
7. Continue along the Illawarra Highway (just a few ks) until you reach the MAJOR ROUNDABOUT at the Southern Freeway;
8. Turn left onto the Southern Freeway;
9. Travel along the Freeway for approximately 6 - 9 ks until you reach the Port Kembla exit ramp. NB: You will see the Buddhist Temple on your right shortly before you reach the Port Kembla (Five Islands Road) exit;
10. Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of the exit ramp; Refer to map;
11. You are now in Five Islands Road; Follow along Five Islands Road according to the map.
