Fraternity Meeting. There will be no monthly meeting in September. The Transitus on Oct 3 will replace the usual meeting. Transitus: Will start at 7:30pm in St Matthews Church in Page. This has been advertised in the Voice. Members, please bring a plate for supper and your best voice to praise the Lord. The readings will be done by
We received a letter from Anne Carpenter, of the Anglican Third Order of the Society of Saint Francis, inquiring about the Transitus. Hélène spoke to her to give details of Transitus and mentioned that Cec would also contact her. She will contact her fraternity and encourage them to come.
October Meeting will be advertised in the Voice and the Fridge Door of the Canberra Times. For those who have the Formation book, please read chapters 5 to 8.
SFO Promotion Workshop. A promotion workshop has been planned by the Region on the weekend 23 & 24 November in Leeton. Martin Morris will drive to Leeton and would like to know who is interested in going with him. It will be a great opportunity to meet other sfo and build up fraternity in Southern NSW. Please phone Martin for further details.
Archdiocesan Synod. Another meeting of Catholic groups in the Archdiocese will get together on Saturday November 23. This meeting is part of the preparation for the Synod. If you are interested in participating, contact either Pam or Hélène for further information.
Day of Reflection: Suggested dates for Reflection Day are Saturday 7 December or Saturday 14 December, in the Hall of St John Vianney Church, Waramanga, from 9am to 4pm. The professed members will renew their vows on the day. Fr Mario will be invited to come.
Regional Newsletter will be circulated at the Transitus. Those who cannot come should ask someone to pick up a copy for them.
